Learn first: two weeks of n8n basics

Before picking a business, spend two weeks learning the one tool every other path uses: n8n, with a free local model. Small, finished exercises, so you can tell which path you'd actually enjoy.

It fits when you'd rather learn before choosing, or you have under 3 hours a week right now.

Week 1: install and one workflow

  • n8n and Ollama on your computer, both free.
  • One workflow: a message in, an answer from a list of facts, out.

Week 2: three small exercises

  • Read a PDF's text. Sort five emails into piles. Send yourself a daily summary.
  • Note which one you enjoyed. That's your hint.

Week 3: choose

  • Take this quiz again with what you know now.
  • Pick one path and read its plan.

Week 4: start the path

  • Do that path's week one.
  • Keep your exercises: they're your first portfolio.

The limits, before you start

Learning isn't earning, and that's fine for two weeks. Set a date to choose, so it doesn't become a hobby you never use.
